Arsenic is colorless, odorless, and tasteless when dissolved in water, even at elevated concentrations. It can be a concern in areas with naturally high arsenic deposits, agricultural runoff from orchards, or waste from glass and electronic manufacturing. Long-term exposure to arsenic may lead to serious health issues, including cancer, skin conditions, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes. Aries arsenic reduction cartridges use advanced ResinTech® ASM-10-HP media, an arsenic-selective material with exceptionally high arsenic capacity. ASM-10-HP is a strong base hybrid anion exchange resin that performs effectively across the full pH range of potable water.
