PRODUCT INFORMATION
Tannins are naturally occurring organic compounds that can cause water to appear yellow to dark tea–colored and may introduce unwanted taste and odor. These effects are typically the result of humic and fulvic organic acids found in surface waters influenced by rainfall and runoff from soil, peat, and vegetation, as well as in some deep groundwater wells. While tannins are not considered a health concern, they are aesthetically undesirable and can negatively impact water quality.
Aries Tannin & Organics Reduction filter cartridges are engineered to effectively remove tannins and other organic compounds using ResinTech® SBACR anion exchange resin. This advanced media improves water clarity while enhancing taste and odor, making it suitable for residential and light commercial applications. Aries Tannin & Organics Reduction AF Series cartridges are available in multiple standard housing sizes, while Aries In-Line IFB Series cartridges are designed specifically for low-flow, point-of-use filtration.
