PRODUCT INFORMATION

Alkaline, or “hard,” water contains elevated levels of dissolved salts and minerals such as calcium and magnesium. These minerals react with soaps and detergents, reducing lathering and diminishing cleaning effectiveness. Over time, mineral deposits can accumulate inside plumbing and appliances, restricting water flow and reducing efficiency. Aries water softening filter cartridges operate using the proven ion exchange principle. The cartridge contains ResinTech® CNS, a high-capacity, gel-type sulfonated polystyrene cation resin designed specifically for water softening applications where free chlorine is not present. This resin exchanges positively charged ions, effectively removing hardness-causing minerals such as calcium and magnesium, as well as dissolved iron. The result is softer water that improves cleaning performance, helps protect plumbing and appliances, and enhances overall water quality for residential and light commercial use.
