PRODUCT INFORMATION
MATRIKX® CTO® filters powered by GREENBLOCK® are produced using 100% coconut shell carbon, a renewable and environmentally sustainable material. The carbon is formed into solid blocks using a proprietary binder system and specialized manufacturing processes. This construction creates a higher concentration of micro-pores and increased carbon surface area, resulting in enhanced adsorption capacity and improved kinetic performance.
MATRIKX® Pb1 filters powered by GREENBLOCK® feature a 0.5 micron carbon block made from extruded activated carbon media designed for the reduction of lead, cysts, turbidity, and chlorine. Unlike most granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, Pb1 series cartridges do not channel or allow bypass. Filter service life is extended through the use of an integrated pre-filtration medium. MATRIKX® Pb1® cartridges are well suited for a wide range of residential and commercial applications. These filters are tested and certified by the WQA to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements. Available sizes include 2-3/4″ x 9-3/4″, 2-3/4″ x 20″, 4-1/2″ x 9-3/4″, and 4-1/2″ x 20″.
