PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Aries radial flow filter cartridges are designed to reduce sediment, chlorine, and unwanted taste and odor in water for low-pressure, high-flow residential and commercial applications. These cartridges are well suited for point-of-entry systems and other applications that require higher flow rates. Unlike axial flow cartridges that can create excessive head pressure and contribute to system issues, radial flow cartridges are engineered to produce a lower pressure drop under high-flow conditions. Water flows from the outside of the cartridge toward the core, allowing efficient filtration performance. The cartridge features a porous polypropylene outer shell rated at 90 microns and a spiral-wound inner core rated at 25 microns. It is filled with high-capacity activated carbon that has been pH stabilized through an acid wash process. The end caps include a scalloped design to promote even flow distribution through the media. All components are manufactured using FDA-approved materials suitable for drinking water use. As water passes through the carbon media, contaminants bond at a molecular level and are removed effectively. The large surface area of the activated carbon allows a small amount of media to treat a large volume of water efficiently. RC Series cartridges are available in two Big Blue sizes: 4.5″ x 10″ and 4.5″ x 20″.
