Limited Warranty – Pentair Residential Filtration, LLC
Pentair Residential Filtration, LLC (“we” or “us”) warrants that its products and parts (“Products” and “Parts”) are free from material defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service, starting from the date of manufacture, for the periods listed below.
Valves & Controls
- Fleck: 5 years
- Fleck AIO (Canada only): 1 year
- Autotrol: 5 years
- Autotrol Magnum Series: 3 years
- AquaMatic: 1 year
- Binrun & “Peanut” 36x (after 1/1/10): 1 year
- Replacement Products & Parts: remainder of original warranty or 30 days, whichever is longer
Filtration
- Pentek housings & systems: 1 year
- GRO elements: 1 year
- Pentek Quick Change systems (after 1/1/13): 1 year
- Pentek opaque housings: 5 years
- GE® & Pentair membrane elements: 1 year
- Freshpoint electronic controls & turbine meter: 5 years
- Freshpoint membrane housings, fittings & solenoid valves: 1 year
- Replacement Products & Parts: remainder of original warranty or 30 days, whichever is longer
Tanks – USA
- PolyGlass fiberglass ≤13″: 10 years
- PolyGlass fiberglass ≥14″: 5 years
- Structural CT, Composite, Park International, ROmate, FRP, Retention, Portable Exchange: 5 years
- Brine tanks & cabinets: 5 years
- Parts & accessories: 1 year
- Replacement Products & Parts: remainder of original warranty or 30 days, whichever is longer
Tanks – India
- PolyGlass, Composite, FRP: 3 years
- Replacement Products & Parts: remainder of original warranty or 30 days
Tanks – Europe
- PolyGlass, Composite, Polyester FRP: 5 years
- Vinylester FRP: 2 years
- Custom/Special order tanks: 2 years
- Parts & accessories: 2 years
- Replacement Products & Parts: remainder of original warranty or 30 days
Tanks – China
- PolyGlass 7″-16″: 3 years
- Composite 18″-63″: 5 years
- Replacement Products & Parts: remainder of original warranty or 30 days
Exclusions
- Defects not reported within the warranty period
- Membrane fouling or scaling
- Items manufactured by other companies
- Improper installation, operation, or maintenance
- Damage from abuse, accidents, acts of nature, or chemical attack
- Alteration or repair by unauthorized parties
- Wear parts (pistons, seals, flappers, O-rings, gaskets) and maintenance-required items
- Damage from extreme water conditions or contaminants
- Noncompliance with codes or ordinances
- Labor or shipping costs for warranty claims
Warranty Obligations
If a defect occurs during the warranty period, Pentair will, at its option, repair, replace, or credit the defective Product or Part. Our liability is limited to the original purchase price. Warranty claims must follow proper procedures, including written notification and return of the defective item.
No Other Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, Pentair disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for consequential or incidental damages.
