The 3M Aqua-Pure Whole House Standard Diameter Stainless Steel Water Filter Housing SST2HB is designed to provide dependable whole-house water filtration for residential and light commercial applications when paired with compatible cartridges. The housing is suitable for use with both chlorinated municipal water supplies and non-chlorinated well water systems.
The stainless steel housing assembly features 1-inch horizontal NPT inlet and outlet connections and supports flow rates of up to 16 gallons per minute (60.6 liters per minute). The 316 stainless steel head and 304 stainless steel sump offer excellent corrosion resistance, allowing installation in a variety of environmental conditions.
This housing accepts two double open-ended style cartridges for sediment, scale, and chlorine taste and odor reduction. Compatible cartridge models include AP110, AP124, AP117, and AP420.
