Overview

The 3M Aqua-Pure Whole House Standard Diameter Water Filter Drop-in Replacement Cartridge AP124 is designed for use with AP100 housings as well as standard and large diameter stainless steel housing series. This drop-in cartridge measures approximately 2.5 inches in diameter by 9.8 inches in length and is manufacturer tested and verified for dependable sediment filtration.

The cartridge provides nominal sediment reduction down to 50 microns and is manufactured using a proprietary polypropylene process. Its rigid construction helps minimize sediment unloading caused by fluctuations in water pressure, often referred to as water hammer. The grooved surface design increases total surface area, supporting longer cartridge life and consistent performance.

To maintain optimal system efficiency, regular cartridge replacement is recommended at the specified interval, at rated capacity, or sooner if a noticeable reduction in water flow occurs. Actual filter life may vary depending on water usage and incoming water quality.
