The 3M Aqua-Pure Whole House Large Diameter Stainless Steel Water Filter Housing SS4 EPE-316L is designed to treat all incoming water for residential and light commercial applications when paired with compatible filter cartridges. The housing is suitable for use with both chlorinated municipal water systems and non-chlorinated well water sources.
The stainless steel housing assembly features 1.5-inch male NPT inlet and outlet connections and is capable of delivering flow rates of up to 32 gallons per minute (121.1 liters per minute). Constructed from 316L electro-polished stainless steel, the head and sump offer strong resistance to corrosion and long-term durability.
This housing accepts four double open-ended style cartridges, including models AP110, AP124, AP117, and AP420. When installed with appropriate cartridges, the system can help reduce sediment, scale, and chlorine taste and odor throughout the home or facility.
