The 3M Aqua-Pure Whole House Large Diameter Stainless Steel Water Filter Housing SS8 EPE-316L is designed to filter all incoming water for residential and light commercial applications when paired with compatible cartridges. Suitable for both chlorinated municipal water systems and non-chlorinated well water sources, this housing provides a flexible solution for whole-house filtration needs.
The housing features 2-inch NPT inlet and outlet connections and delivers unrestricted flow rates of up to 64 gallons per minute (242.3 liters per minute). Its 316L electro-polished stainless steel construction offers a mirror-like finish and high resistance to corrosion. A heavy-duty band clamp and gasket enhance durability and provide a secure seal during operation.
This stainless steel housing is designed to accept eight double open-ended style cartridges, including models AP110, AP124, AP117, and AP420. When installed with compatible cartridges, the system can help reduce sediment, scale, and chlorine taste and odor.
