Pentek Pentair Speciality Filter Cartridges

Water quality is paramount to the health and stability of aquariums and other controlled eco-systems. Contaminants such as: Chlorine, Chloramine, Heavy Metals, Ammonia, Nitrates, Dissolved Solids and Organics must be removed. Water must be purified before it is introduced into a living system and contaminants that may naturally build up in a closed habitat need to be removed. C 1 Series Sediment Filter Cartridges

 

S1 Series cartridges are manufactured from a pleated cellulose media and are designed for
general water filtration purposes.

The media is pleated around a polypropylene core for added strength and the ends are immersed in a thermo-setting vinyl plastisol. Embedding and sealing each end of the pleat in this fashion fuses the three components together forming a unified end cap and gasket.

ECP Series Pleated Cellulose Polyester Sediment Filter Cartridges


ECP Series cartridges are manufactured from a special formulation of resin-impregnated cellulose and polyester fibers.

This unique blend of materials provides a higher wet strength those regular cellulose cartridges. It also provides high flow rates and dirt-holding capacity, while maintaining extremely low pressure drop.

CRE-1 Ceramic Sediment Filter Cartridge

CRE-1 cartridges are manufactured from a sintered ceramic filtration media. They are designed and tested for the reduction of Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts, and are ideal for fine sediment filtration applications.
